Team FU Cancer Is Up And Running

Team FU Cancer is registered and ready for people to join the team. Many People expressed an interest in riding with us this year. If you want to ride, here is the link to our teams page.

I want to put a picture of Uncle Dan on our team page. If anyone has a good picture of Uncle Dan with a livestrong t-shirt on, or riding a bike, or both, please send it to me so I can put it up on our site.

track and lacrosse!

so far Ines is loving lacrosse and now wants to get her own stick! her season is going great she doesnt have many home games left maybe one or 2 and the rest are away and she is playing hatboro horsham at HH on may 3rd!

so far for track we are undefeated and just won our biggest and closest meet of the season! and i am going to districts for high jump and javelin which is one step away from going to states! on saturday april 23rd i have a meet at cb west and its a pretty fun meet and i have a ton of friends on many of the other teams that everyone might have met before and if anyone wants to come they can!

since most of my meets and Ines's games are while everyone is at work i will let you know when ines has a night game and if anyone wants to come to one of my meets there is one every Saturday and they are easier to get too!

My 2nd lacrosse game

HIYA! Yesterday, I had a lacrosse game and we won 2-6. In the first half i played in the field in the first half, but i didn't score. (i guess we all can't be like Shane...)  Well, anyway in the second half i was goalie. I let up 0 goals and had 2 saves. I had lots of fun! (Maybe with hard work some people can play like Daniel) So next week I'm playing at Villanova and i'll be in goal ( because Daniel played there and i want to be a good goalie like him) i'll be awesome.  i have no idea what tim, but i'm sure my mom will tell you all. Well that's all at the moment so, uh, i guess, BYE

Live STRONG Challenge

I recently got the LiveStrong quarterly magazine, which came at the perfect time for me. I have been saying that I would like to ride this year in the Philly fundraiser on the F.U. Cancer team. I am not a bike rider and need to do some preparing if I want to see this one through.

Step 1: get a bike

Step 2: hope I remember how to ride a bike

Step 3: start riding- often

If any of you are interested in doing this with me, it might be fun to "train" together, especially as the weather starts to cooperate! Let me know and we'll get together.

Philly Challenge: Saturday, 8/20 (walk/run) - Sunday, 8/21 (bike)

Thank you for sharing all of your games and events that are important in your life.

This might not be what this was set up for, but I am heading down to Wildwoods to get drunk with a buch of middle aged woman to celebrate all of us that are turning "50" this year. Just thought you would all want to know about that, please do not show up!

Thanks Tim, This is such a Great Idea!!!!  This is exactly the same kind of idea I had with trying to set up the Google Calendar for us to keep events posted for everyone.   We do need to try to keep in touch even more on a regular basis.   We all know how easy it is to get so wrapped up in the daily grind of our busy lives & before we know it we could only see eachother at weddings & funerals - which we won't let happen to us!!!

I know all of you felt the same way, but I want to express how honored & extremely proud I was yesterday to be a part of this amazing family.   We are soooo fortunate even with all the sadness to have such wonderful people to call family:)   THANK YOU EVERYONE!
